Your opportunity 

 

  • Originate new business in the institutional and intermediary segment 
  • Provide independent coverage for pensions, SSE, family offices and insurance
  • Collaboratively provide coverage for the intermediary segment
  • Define the team strategy alongside the Country Head
  • Define market pricing ranges and participate actively to pricing negotiations
  • Generate ideas alongside the wholesale/intermediary/retail local team members
  • Work with the local client services and retail team to better align JHI interest and success
  • Support the completion of RFPs for dedicated opportunities and provide guidance regarding any customer-specific structuring of products
  • Support the whole customer decision-making process
  • Maintain regular contact with decision-makers such as CEO, CIO, Board of Directors, Fund Managers, Fund Analysts, Product Managers and any other role included in the decision-making process
  • Collaborate with Investment Managers, CPM, Product Specialists internally to address the institutional client needs
  • Represent Janus Henderson at public events like trade fairs, congresses, etc.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

  • Proven negotiation skills

  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Strong relationship network in the institutional and wholesale market
  • Proven ability of working well in team
  • Good communication skills

  • Strong experience in sales in the institutional and wholesale segment
  • Expert knowledge of Fixed Income, ETFs and Private Credit

  • Knowledge of financial markets, financial markets function and the impact of economic figures and national/regional/global events on markets
  • Understanding of issues relating to market abuse and anti-money laundering
  • Annual attestation

 

You will be expected to understand the regulatory obligations of the firm, and abide by the regulated entity requirements and JHI policies applicable for your role.
