Your opportunity
The Investment Operations Senior Analyst, plays a critical role in the team, and will pivot between BAU functions within the team, and focusing on broader project work, which either impacts the Investment Operations team, or is being driven by the Investment Operations team.
Operations Control
- Supporting investment teams post trade execution
- Oversight of trade matching and settlement with custodians & counterparties
- Oversight of IBOR position keeping, cash & stock reconciliations
- Oversight of Asset Servicing and Market Obligations
- Management of daily ASIC OTC Regulatory Reporting obligations
- Cashflow Management & Reporting for Mandate Clients
Capital Markets Operations
- Daily ETF basket generation and dissemination
- Order Management, Market Surveillance, Exchange governance & reporting
- Service Provider Oversight
Data Management
- Regional resource to meet the needs of local data requirements
- Strengthen data integrity, quality and availability for region
Projects
- Participate in projects/initiatives, representing the Investment Operations team and functions
- Working closely with both local and global peers, to ensure BAU is not compromised.
- Represent Investment Operations for onboarding of new product and client activity
- Lead smaller, more localized projects for the Operations team, seeking and driving operational efficiencies
- Your role may require you to interact with other JHI offices, employees and third parties based in different time zones, outside of core business hours, such as the UK, USA and Asia.

Must have skills
- Minimum 3 years Investment Operations experience
- Able to manage projects and participate in larger business projects
- Strong working knowledge of investment markets & securities across asset classes essential
- Sound time management skills, with a proven ability to set and work to priorities and deadlines
- Highly analytical and able to work with complex valuations and data
- Highly articulate in written and verbal communication
- Strong client focus for servicing internal and external clients
- Able to build and foster relationships with investment teams and other stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate and work with global teams
- Reasonable understanding of the regulatory obligations for investment managers within Australia
Nice to have skills
- Strong Fixed Income investment support experience an advantage
- Strong working knowledge across asset servicing
- Enthusiastic, approachable and able to work well across teams
- Highly articulate in written and verbal communication
- Appetite to help build and develop in a rapidly growing business
