Your opportunity

This is a 18-24 month Level 4 corporate responsibility and sustainability practitioner apprenticeship programme which is a work based qualification focusing on gaining first hand experience in the team and discovering what your future would be like with us through induction, on the job learning, skills trainings and networking.

 

In close partnership with the Brighter Future Fund Equity Specialist, ESGfocused Investment Teams and the central Responsibility team, you will:

 

  • Assist in the collection, organisation, and maintenance of productlevel ESG data, helping ensure information used in reporting and client communications is accurate, consistent and up to date
  • Support the development of internal and external ESGrelated materials at a product and strategy level, including Sustainability reports, regulatory disclosures, client presentations and responses to RFPs
  • Contribute to the management of productfocused ESG credentials, such as ESG labels, regulatory classifications and industry assessments, by helping prepare supporting documentation and tracking requirements
  • Support oversight of ESGrelated commitments for designated equity strategies, including how those commitments are defined, documented and monitored over time
  • Assist with portfoliolevel ESG tracking, including maintaining research, engagement and stewardship documentation in line with internal processes and regulatory expectations
  • Help promote consistency of ESG messaging across ESGfocused strategies and alignment with firmwide Responsibility and ESG communications
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Investments, Responsibility, Legal, Compliance, Client Reporting and Product Teams to support timely and accurate ESG deliverables
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills

 

  • An understanding of investment concepts, with an interest in how ESG considerations are applied at portfolio level
  • Proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Organized and efficient, with strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, particularly in regulatory and clientfacing materials
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and flag issues early, suggesting practical solutions where possible
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and functions, including investments, legal, compliance, product and clientfacing teams
