Your opportunity
- Lead and oversee a specialised team dedicated to supporting and managing the daily production processes for the Front Office Business, operating within a tiered support framework.
- Essential knowledge of Fixed Income, with desirable knowledge in Equity & Multi-Asset.
- Possess thorough knowledge in Investment Analytics, Performance Attribution, and (Investment Risk: Desirable) alongside familiarity with buy-side IT systems/data flows.
- Provide expertise for Production Support, Tactical Small Changes, and Strategic Projects & Enhancements.
- Allocate incoming queries to BAU Change and Production Support team members, coordinating the triage of issues with wider departments.
- Establish KPIs and present MI on production support issues to management and stakeholders.
- Oversee, monitor, and mitigate risks and issues effectively, with timely escalation to the Product Owner, Business, and/or Senior Management.
- Have previous experience working with Bloomberg, specifically PORT+ analytics, PORT, and functions such as JMGR, PRTU, and BBU and/or any other Attribution systems.
- Demonstrate outstanding Stakeholder Management Skills: Collaborate with stakeholders (Business Sponsor, Project Manager, SMEs, Analysts, other product teams, and Technology departments) to ensure goals are clear and aligned with business objectives.
- Take responsibility for changes assigned to your team, including facilitating required meetings, obtaining sign-off on acceptance criteria, and managing implementation.
- Proactively lead the implementation of strategic small change production enhancements, translating business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Conduct data sourcing from JHI’s data platform to support detailed analysis.
- Liaise with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues.
- For Enterprise projects, collaborate with Project Management colleagues to ensure resources are allocated to support the delivery of prioritized projects and that accurate and robust delivery plans are developed.
- For Enterprise projects, work with Business Readiness colleagues to ensure core readiness activities are delivered in line with our readiness framework (e.g., develop and implement training and communications to help stakeholders understand the products and associated changes, ensure production readiness criteria are met).
- Maintain an understanding of the broader systems, data, and process architecture into which your product fits, contributing to efforts to streamline and enhance architecture where appropriate.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and adhere to project management methodologies.

Must have skills
- Demonstrated expertise in an application support role, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of support models and functions.
- Proficient knowledge of the Bloomberg ecosystem, with a particular emphasis on PORT+ analytics, PORT and functions such as JMGR, PRTU and BBU
- Familiarity with CRD and Markit EDM, which will be considered a significant advantage.
- Proven ability in leading discussions that focus on system functionalities, data integrity, and process flows.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in the Financial and/or Software industries, underscoring a deep sectoral knowledge.
- A solid grasp of interpreting both business and technical requirements, adept at converting these into organized themes, epics, user stories (when necessary), and/or ServiceNow tickets.
- Competent in estimating work volume and assessing resource capabilities, ensuring efficient project management and execution.
- Attention to detail, problem solving and leadership skills are also essential.
- Desirable skills in C#, SQL, Python and/or Azure.
- Desirable qualifications include IMC, CIPM, CFA, FRM, etc.,
- Desirable experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Nice to have skills
- Experience working in an application support function/model
- Experience of CRD and Markit EDM would be beneficial
- Experience leading the analysis process: from requirement gathering, writing test cases, implementation, sign offs and presenting demos to business
- Experience managing relationships with vendors
