Your opportunity
We are part way through a multi-year Finance Transformation Programme (FTP). We are looking to evolve our function across processes, data and technology to improve efficiency and allow better analysis to support the wider business. This will require contribution and engagement across the Finance function and a successful candidate will be key to that.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Leading the team responsible for accounting for all of our pooled funds business globally, including US mutuals, SICAVs, ETFs and OEICs
- Management of a team of 3 qualified/part-qualified accountants
- Ensure revenue is accurately accrued and invoices raised on a timely basis
- Understand the flow of data and how to use our various technologies
- Build understanding and interrogate data to provide insightful variance analysis
- Be a key point of contact with the auditors
- Support the leader of the Global Revenue function through:
- throughout the year ensuring excellent delivery of month end and quarterly reporting including insightful analysis and Sarbanes Oxley compliance
- strategically, including onboarding acquisitions
- Support Finance transformation through:
- Understanding current state, develop future state process maps and document key design decisions
- Drive change and improvements in processes and reporting
- Work with process owners to identify and resolve emerging issues on FTP
- Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in a relevant role
- Excellent team leadership, including team development
- Track record of process improvement and transformation
- Excellent attention to detail and results driven approach
Nice to have skills
- Investment Management or Financial Services experience preferred
- Proficiency with SAP (ERP, BPC and BAO) beneficial
- Experience of working in a global organisation
- Experience of working in a SOX environment preferred but not required
- Proficiency with Power BI or other financial reporting software
