Your opportunity

 

  • Maintain the global commentary production schedule and ensure obligations are recorded in all applicable systems and appropriately communicated with contributors to the commentary effort.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across Investments, Marketing, Distribution, Operations, and Compliance to ensure smooth production cycles and outputs that are aligned with the requirements of the business.
  • Establish in-depth knowledge of Janus Henderson’s vehicle offerings and priority products, understanding implications for commentary based on asset class, product type, and region of sale.
  • Develop expertise in commentary production systems and handle daily processing tasks and troubleshooting, escalating matters to the Director of Global Commentaries as necessary.
  • Support the Director of Global Commentaries in overseeing vendor relationships with external writing and editing staff involved in the commentary effort.
  • Assist the Director of Global Commentaries in executing, enhancing, and evolving the firm’s commentary production processes with strong emphasis on identifying potential efficiency gains. Gradually increase ownership of tasks and leadership over aspects of the global effort.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills

 

  • Project management and relationship management expertise
  • Diligence, strong planning and implementation skills with a focus on deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and project workflow tools.
  • Collaborative approach, willing to get involved in all aspects of the business
  • Self-starter with desire to own and lead global processes

 

Nice to have skills

 

  • Degree-level education, with business, finance, project management, or similar relevant degree
  • Knowledge of, or keen interest in, investments and financial markets
  • Client reporting or client servicing experience in asset management
  • Experience with SharePoint, Azure, Vermilion, WordPress and/or Bloomberg
  • Resourcefulness, with the ability to identify inefficiencies, troubleshoot on the fly, and seek out and employ process enhancements
