Your opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Analyst to lead the analysis of our Document Workflow product, with a particular focus on the integration and management of the systems supporting document management in JHI, including Fundamentals, Workfront and Seismic integration. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and enhancement of our Distribution, Sales, and Marketing applications. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the successful execution of our product roadmap and various initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of business analysis skills and technical expertise, acting as the bridge between key stakeholders, external vendors, and the technical team.
Responsibilities include:
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary intermediary between business stakeholders and development teams, translating business needs into actionable development tasks via discovery artifacts and user stories.
- Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap and strategy, particularly for Document management in JHI
- Agile Participation: Engage in Agile product development processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing and release management.
- Project Oversight: Supervise the design, development, and implementation of software projects, ensuring compliance with best practices and quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and accuracy through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to ensure timely delivery of product features in accordance with specifications.
- Backlog Management: Manage the product backlog, clearly defining user stories and acceptance criteria for development tasks.
- Progress Evaluation: Assess product progress at each iteration and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful delivery.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and effective communication of progress, updates, and plans to stakeholders.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the product and organization.
This role requires a proactive individual who can drive projects forward and navigate the complexities of a multi-product, dynamic environment.

Must have skills
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a track record of successfully delivering products or projects.
- Familiarity with document management and workflow systems, specifically Fundamentals, Commentary, Vermilion, Workfront and Seismic.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills to assess product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Enthusiasm for planning and discussing roadmaps and product strategy with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), software architecture principles, and design patterns.
Nice to have skills
- Database Skills: Proficiency in working with databases, particularly SQL databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, or Snowflake.
- Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with Azure monitoring and logging tools to track application performance and diagnose issues.
- Previous experience in the financial industry or with financial reporting.
- Project management certification (e.g., Scrum, PMP).
