Your opportunity

 

We are looking for a Junior Digital Delivery Specialist to join our busy and exciting Digital Delivery team.

 

  • Contribute as part of a globally distributed Digital Delivery team.
  • Manage the end-to-end publishing lifecycle of web content, including uploading, maintenance, optimisation, and quality assurance.
  • Design, build, and maintain WordPress pages, ensuring layouts, components, and functionality align with established design systems and brand guidelines.
  • Review, update, and optimise existing web content in response to regulatory requirements, technology changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with UX and design teams to implement user-centred designs and enhance overall website usability and performance.
  • Own and manage day-to-day delivery tasks and projects, providing clear status updates, proactively communicating dependencies, and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Support the localisation of content by working with translation tools to deliver accurate, scalable multilingual web experiences.
  • Identify, log, and document website bugs or enhancements, liaising with IT and technical teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Apply SEO/GEO best practices and accessibility standards across all web content, acting as a steward for web quality and leveraging tools such as Siteimprove to monitor and drive continuous improvement.

Must have skills

 

  • Proficient in HTML and CSS
  • Demonstrable experience managing and maintaining public-facing web content.
  • Prior experience using tools such as JIRA, Siteimprove, and Workfront, or the ability to evidence strong workload management and delivery discipline.
  • Solid understanding of SEO/GEO principles and web usability best practices, including accessibility standards, quality assurance processes, and user experience considerations.
  • Ability to confidently challenge the status quo to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of web quality.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders on a daily basis.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate practical solutions.
  • Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing demands during periods of increased workload.

 

Nice to have skills

 

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript is desirable.
  • Exposure to a large, heavily regulated financial services organisation with a complex, enterprise-scale web presence, and the confidence to navigate such environments effectively.
  • Experience managing and maintaining multiple websites across different markets and languages (no foreign language proficiency required).
  • Prior experience using translation tools such as Smartling or WPML, or the ability to demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning new platforms quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Creative Suite applications is advantageous, though not essential.
