Your opportunity 

This is a 10-week summer internship program from June 1st to August 7th, 2026, (dates are flexible), focusing on first-hand experience in the team and discovering what your future would be like with us through induction, on the job learning, skills training and networking.

 

As a Quantitative Developer Intern, you will support a Quantitative Developer in developing a cutting-edge LLM agent for structured products.

 

  • Assist in the development of an LLM-powered credit analyst agent that automates securitized bond diligence – pulls data, models cash flows, runs comps, and returns a sourced, PM-ready brief in minutes
  • Help implement evaluation, grounding, and guardrails (quality metrics, tracing, safety) to deliver accurate, auditable outputs for analysts via a chat interface
  • Work on a batch-scoring API to apply the analysis across broad bond universes and persist scores for systematic signals and back testing
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned

Must have skills

 

  • Enrolled in a four-year university program
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science (or another related field)
  • Expected graduation date in 2027 or 2028
  • Fluent in Python, applying best practices and modern workflows
  • Proficient in any standard SQL dialect
  • Hands-on experience with large language models, including building prompts, applying retrieval or tool-use patterns, or integrating LLMs into applications
  • Exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about financial markets with a curiosity about investing

 

Nice to have skills

 

  • Experience with LLM frameworks or agent architectures
  • Familiarity with model evaluation and grounding techniques
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and modern DevOps tools
  • Knowledge of data engineering patterns and API design
  • Experience with numerical Python or ML libraries
  • Background or coursework in data science/math/stats
  • Background or coursework in fixed income or credit markets

Compensation information

 

The hourly rate for this position is $34.00. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through February 28th, 2026.
