Your opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned investment professional to lead strategy and execution for residential mortgage-backed securities (MBS) portfolios. This role emphasizes asset selection, risk oversight, and performance optimization, all within the framework of regulatory compliance and client mandates.
- Design and implement investment strategies for agency and non-agency residential MBS portfolios, aligning with firm policies and client goals.
- Collaborate with the Securitized Products team to evaluate risk, perform due diligence, and uncover relative value opportunities.
- Responsible for supporting portfolios that are managed by the Fixed Income team.
- Leverage both quantitative analysis and qualitative insights to identify compelling investments across the securitized products landscape.
- Communicate investment rationale and portfolio positioning to internal teams and external clients.
- Support business development initiatives, including marketing and capital-raising efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with market participants—brokers, banks, and counterparties—to source deals and stay informed on market dynamics.
- Represent the firm at industry events, webinars, and conferences to stay current on market trends and regulatory developments.
- Contribute to the development of technology solutions that enhance portfolio management capabilities.

Must have skills
- A minimum of 10 years of experience managing securitized assets, with a strong track record in both agency and non-agency RMBS.
- Extensive network across issuers, banks, sponsors, and institutional investors.
- Demonstrated ability to scale and grow investment platforms or businesses.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of fixed income analytics, bond pricing, and valuation techniques.
- Proficiency in quantitative modeling and analytical tools.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees (MBA, MS) or CFA designation are advantageous.

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $225,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. Role will be posted through the end of September, 2025.
