Your opportunity 

This is a 10-week summer internship program from June 1st to August 7th, 2026, focusing on first-hand experience in the team and discovering what your future would be like with us through induction, on the job learning, skills trainings and networking.

 

  • Work closely with relevant business teams on a broad range of legal matters including commercial, technology, employment and regulatory change
  • Assist with commercial contracts in accordance with Janus Henderson’s contracting framework under the supervision of a qualified lawyer
  • Assist in updating and maintaining contract templates and contract repositories
  • Perform legal work related to creation and maintenance of new and existing funds, including occasional legal research
  • Assist internal/external clients and vendors with formatting/editing/printing of client facing documents.
  • Carrying out additional duties as assigned

Must have skills

 

  • All candidates must currently be enrolled in a four-year university program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, databases
  • Ability to follow complex instructions and processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to perform under pressure and on own initiative
  • Flexible approach based on demand
  • Good planning, organisation and prioritisation skills essential - ability to meet tight deadlines, juggling multiple demands – being adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the team
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation information

 

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. Candidates are responsible for their own housing and travel expenses. This role will remain open through November 16th, 2025.
