Your opportunity

 

This role will focus on exception handling, data integrity, and reporting accuracy for commissions under the JHI US Retail channel. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, a working knowledge of compensation structures, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure fair and transparent compensation practices.

 

  • Analyze and categorize exceptions such as missing transparency, non-transparent products, and territory/team changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proper documentation, review, and resolution.
  • Partner with data strategy teams to correct reporting errors and improve data flow.
  • Identify inefficiencies in commission workflows and propose solutions to streamline operations.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss exceptions rules and processes, provide feedback on workflow and reporting impacts.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Technology teams on strategic initiatives involving compensation data.
  • Contribute to the refinement of compensation processes, including support of automation, and the review of the sales exception process and unique rules underlying the comp plans.
  • Support internal audits and implement recommendations to strengthen governance.
  • Create dashboards and visual reports to communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compensation practices align with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Must have skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in compensation analysis, financial operations, or data analytics.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, Tableau, or similar tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with HRIS or compensation platforms (e.g., Employee Central, Workday, Xactly).
  • Knowledge of data governance and privacy standards.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

 

Nice to have skills

 

  • Familiarity with investment products and distribution structures.
  • Experience working with exception reporting and audit deliverables.
  • Understanding of territory-based compensation models and advisor-level data attribution.

Compensation information

 

The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will be posted through October 15, 2025.
