Your opportunity
- This role provides those that seek a career in account management or analyst relations a foundation for learning the various facets of working with internal and external clients
- Work in collaboration with Executive Directors, Directors, and Sr Account Mangers on the Client Coverage team/channel members to facilitate our external and internal client requests and ensure a positive client experience
- Remain accountable for alignment to Client Coverage Group KPI’s
- Complete client requests both internally and externally. These may include but are not limited to monthly/quarterly client reporting, data information, thought leadership resources, product information, webinar notices, etc.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and updating existing by utilizing the CAP, GLOBE and Fishtank systems and see requests through from start to finish. You will learn negotiation best practices around revenue sharing terms for product/platform availability
- Accountable for adopting company CRM and other company technology for client strategic planning, pipeline, interaction tracking and sharing of data with key stakeholders
- Special project work as assigned by Head of Client Coverage Group
- Support various sponsored events in which Janus Henderson participates with our home offices and secure speakers, content and deliver client requests for content
- Manage the teams’ internal database, keeping it updated with client reports/communications and updates on various firm information/availability/policies
- Partner with Marketing on current JHI initiatives such as webinar invites, firm specific marketing campaigns, monthly newsletter, social live and how we can employ those with our clients
- Collaborate with Analytics & Reporting regarding KPI and SAP dashboards to ensure data is accurate for Senior Leadership and client use
- Work with Reporting & Analytics to leverage data packs and collaborate with Client Coverage Group members in developing strategic opportunistic lists to be used by the North America Client Group for our Strategic Account Program and other clients

Must have skills
- Experience: Minimum 2 years account management experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
- FINRA Licensed: Series 7 and 63 licenses required
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial markets, investment products, and asset management.
- Sales Skills: Ability to develop and maintain relationships with national accounts, which include large distributors like custodians, broker-dealers, TAMPs, and RIAs. Skills in negotiation and persuasion are also important.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, sales trends, and client needs to assist in developing strategic recommendations for the Client Coverage Group.
- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
Nice to have skills
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and other financial analysis tools.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team, as well as with other departments like marketing, compliance, and portfolio management.
- Problem Solving: Skill in identifying problems and coming up with effective solutions quickly and efficiently.

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $90,000 with eligibility for sales compensation. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through the end of August 2025.
