Your Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Application and Data Architect to support the design, development, and implementation of scalable application and data solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in software development and data management who is looking to grow into an architectural role.
You will:
- Work with the global technology management team, product owners, technical leads, and business stakeholders to provide enterprise solutions to specific business problems and issues across many domains.
- Collaborate with the broader architecture community to ensure that their solutions align with target architectures and technology roadmaps.
- Prepare and present product documentation for architecture review boards.
- Evaluate design approaches, make architectural recommendations, and implement improvements to testing strategies.
- Translate target state strategic architecture into technical architecture and help engineering teams design solutions that factor in target state.
- Document and communicate target and phased states of Applications and data architecture in line with multiyear strategic transformations.
- Assist in designing application architectures that are scalable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.
- Support the development and maintenance of data models, data flows, and integration patterns.
- Collaborate with software developers, data engineers, and business analysts to ensure architectural consistency.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software and data design.
- Help document architectural decisions, standards, and guidelines.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in application and data architecture.
- Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
- Investment Management experience.
- Experience of Blackrock Aladdin, Aladdin Data Cloud, Aladdin APIs.
- Strong experience of Azure, Snowflake or other cloud platforms.
- Experience of defining architecture design principles, integration frameworks and patterns.
- Solid background in Product Management and Agile delivery methodologies
- Experience of working with geographically disperse development teams
- Experience of investment management data platforms such as MEDM, Eagle, Hiport, Simcorp beneficial.
- Experience of C#, Angular, Databricks and Python beneficial

Compensation information
The base salary for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will be posted through October 30, 2025.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
