Your Opportunity

Janus Henderson Investors seeks a Research Analyst in Chicago, IL to provide in depth analysis of a universe of listed REIT stocks in the following property types in North America: Retail, Industrial, Cold Storage, Lodging.  Generate trade ideas working closely with lead portfolio manager. 

Develop and maintain a wide network of industry contacts including sell side, corporate management, and private company contacts in covered property types, liaise with Janus Henderson REIT personnel in Europe and Asia to facilitate coordinated portfolio construction and analysis; liaise as required with Janus Henderson investment personnel outside the REIT team, trading, operations, client service, marketing. Aid in the completion of marketing collateral, RFP's, etc. Place trades on behalf of portfolio managers and work with traders to monitor these orders through completion.

Remote work permitted 1 day a week. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field plus eight years of progressively responsible experience in the following: financial modeling, accounting principles, economic and statistical analysis, Bloomberg, Excel, Charles River, maintenance of industry network in the property types of Retail, Industrial, Cold Storage, and Lodging. CFA Charter.

Annual Bonus Opportunity:  Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool.  The profit pool is funded based on Company profits.  Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
