Your opportunity

 

As a Senior Client & Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for the accurate, timely, and controlled production of client and regulatory reporting, ensuring high standards of quality, data integrity, and operational excellence. You will be part of a Budapest-based team supporting global Client Reporting and Regulatory Reporting functions, acting as a key contributor to reporting delivery, process improvement, and issue resolution.

 

  • Produce and oversee the timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc investment reports in accordance with established procedures, controls, and client requirements.
  • Manage ESG and Responsible Investing reporting activities, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting standards.
  • Prepare, review, and distribute factsheets, including multilingual versions where required, ensuring high-quality output and consistency across all deliverables.
  • Perform data preparation, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities for reporting outputs and third-party platforms, proactively identifying, resolving and escalating discrepancies.
  • Execute reporting activities independently, maintaining high levels of accuracy, control, and adherence to service level agreements and deadlines.
  • Support and coordinate inbox and workflow management activities for global Client Reporting teams, helping ensure timely completion and prioritization of requests.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance process documentation, procedures, and control checklists to promote consistency, efficiency, and operational resilience.
  • Contribute to reporting and operational change initiatives, including business analysis, testing, process redesign, and implementation of new reporting solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for designated client and regulatory reporting processes, providing guidance, training, and support to colleagues and stakeholders.

Must have skills

 

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of data quality and operational accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments, trade lifecycle, and middle office processes (or the ability to learn quickly).
  • Ability to follow established procedures while identifying areas where controls can be strengthened.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across operations, technology, compliance, and other internal teams.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and see them through completion.
  • The intellectual curiosity to identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
