Your opportunity 

Support the global valuation function by performing valuation and pricing oversight activities across multiple asset classes, with a focus on private investments. The role will assist in fair value reviews, price validation, reporting, and NAV oversight while working closely with senior valuation professionals and stakeholders across the business.

 

  • Perform daily and periodic price validation and valuation support activities across IBOR, PBOR, and NAV functions.
  • Assist with valuation reviews for private credit and private equity investments.
  • Gather and analyse market data, financial statements, and valuation inputs.
  • Support the preparation of valuation models, documentation, and methodology reviews.
  • Produce valuation reports and management information for internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with annual and interim audit requests and documentation.
  • Monitor pricing exceptions and investigate valuation discrepancies.
  • Support valuation committee materials and meeting preparation.
  • Work with portfolio managers, fund accounting, risk, compliance, and technology teams to resolve valuation-related issues.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and control testing.
  • Maintain valuation records, controls, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure activities are completed in accordance with valuation policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in projects, testing activities, and other duties as assigned.

Must have skills

 

  • Understanding of financial markets and investment products.
  • Basic knowledge of valuation concepts and pricing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with large data sets and perform detailed reviews.
  • Strong Excel skills and aptitude for learning new systems.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.

 

Nice to have skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to foster inclusive, trusting relationships at all levels.
  • Experience interacting with clients, auditors, and pricing vendors
