Your opportunity

The Listed Trade Operations Analyst supports the accurate and timely processing of exchange-traded securities across global markets, ensuring trades are executed, confirmed, settled, and reconciled in line with internal controls, market rules, and regulatory requirements.

The role is focused on listed products such as equities, ETFs, listed derivatives, and related cash flows, with responsibility across the post-trade lifecycle including trade capture, settlement, exception management, and stakeholder coordination. This position offers exposure to high-volume listed trade flows, market infrastructures, and opportunities to contribute to operational enhancement initiatives over time.

Listed Trade Lifecycle Processing

• Perform trade capture, affirmation, and verification for exchange-traded instruments, ensuring accurate booking in internal systems
• Support settlement and associated cash movements across global markets, currencies, and custodians
• Monitor daily listed trade activity, ensuring timely completion in line with market deadlines and operational procedures

Exception Management & Controls

• Investigate and resolve trade breaks, settlement fails, mismatches, and cash discrepancies related to listed products
• Liaise with brokers, exchanges, custodians, and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently
• Escalate complex or high-risk issues in accordance with defined escalation and risk management procedures
• Maintain strong discipline around reconciliations, data accuracy, and operational controls

Stakeholder & Market Interaction

• Act as a key operational contact for Front Office, Custody, Middle Office, Technology, and external counterparties
• Respond to internal and external queries related to listed trades in a professional and timely manner
• Build effective working relationships across Operations and broader business functions

Operational Excellence

• Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory and market requirements
• Contribute to the documentation, maintenance, and enhancement of standard operating procedures
• Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies within listed trade processes and propose improvement opportunities

Change & Continuous Development

• Support operational initiatives, system enhancements, and process improvement projects affecting listed products
• Participate in testing and implementation activities for new markets, exchanges, products, or system changes
• Perform additional duties as required to support the broader Listed Trade Operations function

Must have skills

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of data quality and operational accuracy.
• Solid understanding of financial instruments, trade lifecycle, and middle office processes (or the ability to learn quickly).
• Ability to follow established procedures while identifying areas where controls can be strengthened.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and propose practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across operations, technology, compliance, and other internal teams.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
• The intellectual curiosity to identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
